I Choose (October – December 2016)

Society for Family Health required the project to be run for the second time and it ran in Tsakane, Witbank and uMgungundlovu and later extended to City of Johannesburg, eThekwini and Bloemfontein. The project kicked off on 24 October 2016 and ran over an 8-week period until 15 December 2016, with the following objectives:

The following campaign activities were conducted:

• Promoting medical male circumcision among men between the ages of 18 and 45
• Engaging men and sharing information on medical male circumcision (MMC) services offered at New Start clinics
• Increasing the number of men who visit New Start clinics in selected demarcations
• Collecting data to build an effective demand generation model
