A recent campaign by Bobtail ticked all the boxes – it had humour, efficacy, directly reached the target market, with a clear value proposition. And it couldn’t have cost too much. In an environment where “shouting” seems to be preferred over creativity and authenticity, it was a welcome sight, and something Bobtail makes a habit of doing.
In this campaign, Bobtail targeted Emmarentia Dam, a haven for dog lovers in Johannesburg. A length of small wooden stumps piqued walkers’ interest, with the answer positioned attractively over the dam in the form of an over-sized wooden log neatly branded “FETCH! Bobtail – For Strong South African Dogs”.
Simplicity at its best.
